MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas football team has officially unveiled its 2015 schedule on Monday afternoon and the 11-game regular season slate will feature all Great American Conference opponents with six of those foes coming to Wilkins Stadium for Mulerider home games.
 
The first of those home games also serves as the Muleriders' season-opener as SAU welcomes in Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, September 5 with a scheduled kick-off time of 6 p.m. Two weeks after that, the Muleriders play host to Harding on September 19 starting at 6 p.m. as well. The Harding game will double as "Family Day" on SAU's campus.
 
In October, the Muleriders will be at home back-to-back weeks starting on October 10 as they take on the newest GAC member, Oklahoma Baptist starting at 2:30 p.m. The contest against Oklahoma Baptist will be the date of the annual Homecoming and Hall of Fame ceremonies at SAU. The following week, defending GAC Champion, Ouachita Baptist makes its way to Wilkins Stadium for a 2 p.m. kick-off on October 17.
 
The next two weeks of the season will have SAU on the road, but the Muleriders' final two games will be at home as they will play East Central at 2 p.m. on November 7 and close the regular season with the fourth-annual Battle of the Timberlands game against Arkansas-Monticello at 2 p.m. on November 14.
 
Scheduled road games for the Muleriders include a week two (9/12/15) haul to Northwestern Oklahoma State, then a September 26 meeting at Arkansas Tech, which will then be followed up the next week with a trip to Southern Nazarene on October 3. The last two weeks of October will be on the road as SAU takes on Henderson State on October 24 and then the final road game of the year at Southeastern Oklahoma State on October 31.
 
Single-game and season ticket information for the 2015 SAU Football season will be released later this summer.
